Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy / Bodywork is a healing art. The profession is one of the fastest growing in the health field today. ISB has an emphasis on therapeutic massage. The benefits of therapeutic massage are being increasingly recognized, in turn putting bodywork in its rightful place in the medical community.

The Massage Therapy program consists of 650 hours of study.  A student that attends day classes will attend a minimum of 25 hours per week and can complete the program within 26 weeks.   (Program currently offered in Ankeny only)

  • Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Prenatal/Infant Massage, Trigger Point Therapy
  • Deep Tissue Manipulation, Geriatric Massage, Rehabilitation Massage, Corporate Massage
  • Therapeutic Bodywraps, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Massage
  • Human Anatomy and Physiology
  • Ethics, Boundaries, Laws and Regulations
  • Business Practices, Guidelines for Professional Practice
