Financial Aid - Iowa School of Beauty

Iowa School of Beauty offers financial aid for those who qualify through the following approved programs:

Federal Pell Grants

The U.S. Department of Education provides grants to students enrolled in eligible programs based on financial need. These grants do not have to be repaid. To apply, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Federal Direct Student Loans

Subsidized

This loan is awarded on the basis of financial need. You will not be charged any interest before you begin repayment or during authorized periods of deferment. The federal government subsidizes the interest during these periods.

Unsubsidized

This loan is NOT awarded on the basis of need. You will be charged interest from the time the loan is disbursed until it is paid in full.

Cost of Attendance

The total cost of attending a postsecondary institution includes the sum of published tuition and required fees; books and supplies; and the average cost for room, board, and other expenses for each institution.
