Currently, Iowa School of Beauty offers the following three courses:

Cosmetology Program

A full-time student attends classes a minimum of 35 hours per week.

When regular attendance is followed the curriculum requirements of 2100 hours of cosmetology study can be fulfilled within 61 weeks.

Weeks 1-7: "Basics"                      Tuesday-Friday 8:30-5:00 (Basic training)
Weeks 8-16:                                  Monday 9:00-4:00  Tuesday- Friday 8:30-4:45
Weeks 17 to Completion:              Tuesday- Friday 8:30-4:45  Saturday 8:00-2:00

Additional Hours Available:

Monday 9:00 to 5:00
Tuesday evening 4:45-8:00
Wednesday evening 4:45-8:00
Thursday evening 4:45-8:00

Nail Technology Program

A nail technology student attends classes a minimum of 21 hours per week.

When regular attendance is followed the curriculum requirements of 325 hours of nail technology study can be fulfilled within 15 weeks.

Weeks 1-15: Wednesday-Friday 8:30-4:30

(Additional hours are available Monday 9:00-5:00, Tuesday 9:30-8:00, Wednesday and Thursday evenings 4:45-8:00, Saturday 8:00-2:00)

Instructor Training Program

A graduate student must complete an additional 1000 hours of study.

These students have a 40 hour per week schedule to be set by the school director.
